The Production Association of Minsk Tractor Works was founded in 1946.

It became one of the world's largest manufacturers of agricultural equipment with nearly 20,000 employees.

At present there are approximately 100 producers of tractors in the world. However, only 8 of them hold 96% of the world tractor market.  Minsk Tractor Works is among the eight.

Minsk Tractor Works develops, manufactures and exports wheeled tractors and spare parts, organises licensed production of them and provides assistance for servicing requirements.

Minsk Tractor Works has penetrated the markets of more than 60 countries in various parts of the world.

For a number of years, Minsk Tractor Works has held an 8-10% share of the world market of wheeled tractors.

This long history of development and progress has ensured that the Belarus brand of tractor is one of the toughest, most durable, value for money pieces of farm machinery available anywhere in the world today.
